Publication Requirements
- The journal publishes original scientific research that offers a new contribution in the fields of agriculture, economics, and agricultural investment. The research can be written in either Arabic or English.
- The research must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere, and the researcher must commit to this and not submit it to another outlet until a decision is made.
- The research can be derived from a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation, provided the thesis is authored by the researcher.
- The research must not be part of a published book.
- After approval for publication in the Journal of Investment and Sustainable Food Security, the research or parts of it cannot be published elsewhere without written permission from the Editor-in-Chief.
- The author must agree to transfer all publication rights to the journal. If the journal wishes to republish the research, it must obtain written consent from the author.
- If the research contains any references related in any way to political conflicts, racial or religious disputes, or any form of intolerance, it will be rejected by the editorial board.
- Complete the declaration and commitment form and attach it with the submission files.
- Authors must disclose sources of funding and declare any financial or other conflicts of interest.
Authors Guidelines
- Authors must adhere to the submission instructions set by the journal, which follows the APA style format and alphabetical order, ensuring compliance with responsible research conduct and ethical publishing standards.
- The research must be original and unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Ensure your research includes an abstract between 250-300 words and relevant keywords, adhering to the specified number of 4-6 words.
- The research should not exceed 9,000 words and should be no less than 4,000 words.
- Diversify references with at least 30 sources.
- The research should include: the title in both Arabic and English and a brief biography of the author(s).
- The author's name, current address, and position should be mentioned immediately after the research title in both Arabic and English.
- The journal's policy requires, where possible, that the research be applied, including a general introduction outlining the study's justification, its problem, importance, and research gap, followed by the theoretical framework, including previous studies, research questions, and hypotheses, then research methodology, analysis of results, discussion, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Authors must avoid unethical behavior such as plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification. The allowable similarity percentage should not exceed 15%. If the similarity exceeds 40%, the author must revise and reduce it to an acceptable level, attaching a Turnitin report indicating no plagiarism and a similarity index not exceeding 15%. If it exceeds 40%, the research is rejected.
- Authors must submit original work and properly cite others’ work.
- Authors must confirm they have obtained written permission from all co-authors who significantly contributed to the work.
- Submitting the same research to more than one journal is considered unethical publishing behavior.
- The publication ethics and malpractice statement of the Journal of Investment and Sustainable Food Security is based on the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in 2011. - Once accepted for publication, authors must transfer copyright to the publisher (the Authority). If the journal wishes to reprint the research, prior permission must be obtained from the authors.
- Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, size 14 for the main text, single-sided, with 1.5 spacing between lines.
- If an author discovers a significant error in their published work, it is their responsibility to inform the Editor-in-Chief to retract or correct the error.
- If an author requests to withdraw the research while under review, they must pay a penalty equal to the reviewers' compensation. If the author refuses, they are barred from publishing in the journal for three years. If accepted for publication and then withdrawn, the author must pay a penalty equal to the reviewers' compensation.
- Graphs and illustrations should be included in the text, in black and white, numbered sequentially, with titles and explanatory notes below them.
- Tables should be included in the text, numbered sequentially, with titles above and explanatory notes below.
